The latest G2 Crowd Grid Report covers email security gateways: One of the most important security solutions for businesses to implement. To be included in the Grid report, email security solutions had to have the following features:

- Facilitate whitelisting or blocking capabilities to control suspicious accounts; and,
- Archiving capabilities for compliant storage.
G2 Crowd identified 10 of the leading email security gateway solutions and assessed the products based on market presence and customer satisfaction level. After the assessment, each product was assigned a position on its grid based on performance.
The leader for email gateway security was SpamTitan by TitanHQ. SpamTitan was consistently rated highly by users across four areas that were assessed for the report: Quality of support, ease of use, meets requirements, and ease of administration.

For quality of support and meeting requirements, SpamTitan had a 94% satisfaction score and scored 92% for ease of use, and 90% for ease of administration. For comparison purposes, the average scores were 84%, 88%, 82%, and 83% respectively.
