The Israeli cybersecurity firm Ironscales has been named a finalist in the 2017 SC Awards in the Best Email Security Solution category and will be competing to win top spot in the category at the upcoming annual awards event in February 2017.
This is now the 20th year that SC Media has been honoring the top cybersecurity vendors, with the awards highly coveted. The awards program is highly respected within the industry, with only the best of the best winning their respective category. However, the high quality of the competition makes being selected as a finalist a highly prestigious accolade. To be named as a finalist, a company must have outstanding leadership and an exceptional cybersecurity product that has been proven to be highly effective at preventing cyberattacks and mitigating risks and cyber threats.
Over the past 12 months the threat from phishing, malware and ransomware has increased considerably. As cybercriminals increase their efforts to break through the defenses of organizations, cybersecurity companies are developing new and highly innovative products to counter the threat. Illena Armstrong, VP, editorial, SC Media explained that “finalists have shown that they are the best at what they do.”
Ironscales has also recently been recognized as a top anti-phishing solution provider in the recent Cybersecurity Excellence Awards with the company’s automated phishing response solution included in the list of finalists. Like the SC Media Awards, the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards recognize excellence in the field of cybersecurity and honor companies that have demonstrated a high level of innovation and have strong leadership.
The awards tap into the experience of more than 300,000 cybersecurity professionals who vote for the best cybersecurity solutions, companies and IT professionals.
Being named as a finalist for both awards is testament to the drive and commitment of management and staff, the high level of innovation and the quality of the company’s cybersecurity products.
Ironscales CEO, Eyal Benishti, said “Being recognized by both SC Magazine and the Cybersecurity excellence awards validates the market need for a real-time automated response to phishing mitigation that acts with or without employee intervention.”
