PhishLabs Rated ‘Top Performing Company in South Carolina’

PhishLabs has been included in the 2016 Roaring Twenties list after two highly successful years of sustained growth. The 2016 Roaring Twenties list is presented each year by SC Biz News. The list includes the best-performing companies in South Carolina with each firm rated based on the both the percentage and dollar increases in revenue over the previous two years.

After increasing revenue consistently over the past two years, PhishLabs was a worthy inclusion in this year’s list. This is the fourth consecutive year that the company has been included in the Roaring Twenties list, having enjoyed eight years of continued, sustained growth of annual revenue.

John LaCour, Founder and CEO of PhishLabs, said the continued success of the company is down to “an amazing and relentless team that is passionate about stopping cybercrime attacks.”

The sustained growth saw the firm expand its headquarters in 2016, with the project scheduled for completion in 2017. The new 25,311 square foot facility in Charleston will provide the firm with the space it needs to house its rapidly increasing workforce. The firm is continuing to enjoy excellent growth and bring talented individuals on board. The company is expected to fill several key technical and non-technical positions over the coming months.

The company has developed innovative cybersecurity products and services that help organizations correct a weak link in security – the security awareness of employees. PhishLabs has developed proprietary technology that is combined with human expertise to combat the rising threat from phishing. The company’s platform now analyses more than one million phishing attacks a year, with the firm mitigating more than 9,000 malicious attacks every month.

PhishLabs not only provides training modules to teach security awareness, the company has also developed a phishing simulation program to put security awareness knowledge to the test and assess the effectiveness of its training programs. The end result is a highly trained workforce and much improved resilience against cyberattacks.

PhishLabs not only trains staff and blocks cyberattacks. PhishLabs analyses the infrastructures used in phishing attacks and rapidly shuts malicious sites down to prevent further attacks.
