Webinar 6/18: Best Practices for a Successful Cloud Center of Excellence

Organizations that have migrated workloads to the public cloud often find that as cloud usage grows, several departments and teams across the organization will be consuming cloud resources.

As the cloud environment grows in size and complexity, organizations often discover management becomes more difficult, there is considerable wastage across the organization, and the investment fails to deliver value.

What is required is a cloud business office, often called a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), to ensure that all stakeholders are implementing best practices and teams are following through on deliverables. The CCoE team ensures there is close collaboration between all departments and teams that consume and manage cloud resources and organization-wide usage of cloud resources is properly managed to ensure the organization gets the greatest value out of the cloud.

While a Cloud Center of Excellence makes perfect sense on paper, in practice the CCoE often struggles to manage organization-wide cloud financial management, operations, security and compliance. Without an effective CCoE, organizations will find that the benefits that made the cloud so attractive are not fully being achieved.

Redmond Magazine is hosting a webinar on June 18, 2020 to help organizations better align people and processes and establish a cross-functional team of stakeholders and form an effective CCoE.

The webinar will cover the importance of a Cloud Center of Excellence for managing organization-wide cloud financial management, operations, and security and compliance, the stakeholders that need to be part of the CCCoE, and will walk through a framework based on best practices that will help you identify areas for improvement and maintain alignment on cross-functional efforts.
