TitanHQ has released an update for its award-winning web filtering platform WebTitan Cloud. The latest version of the DNS filtering solution – WebTitan Cloud v4.12 – includes a new feature that will be of particular benefit to MSPs and customers who have facilities in different geographic locations.
WebTitan Cloud now supports filtering by location. Policies can be set by location and will be applied whether users are on or off the network. The new feature means WebTitan Cloud users can apply content controls at the user, user group, department, location, and organization level with a high degree of granularity.
The same granular approach is applied to the reports, which can now also be generated by location. Reports are not always convenient, so TitanHQ has also improved search functionality. It is now possible for administrators to search on the history page by location and view traffic in real time or historically without having to generate a report.
TitanHQ’s core market is managed service providers (MSPs). The updates have been made with MSPs firmly in mind. It is now much easier for MSPs to quickly access traffic information from all customers, who can be selected from a drop-down box on the history page.
The latest version of WebTitan – as with TitanHQ’s other core products SpamTitan and ArcTitan – can be easily integrated into MSPs deployment, billing, and management systems via a suite of APIs and all client installations can be set up, configured, and managed through a single pane of glass.
Existing WebTitan Cloud customers will have the new version of WebTitan applied automatically and will see the new features when they next login to their web administration portal.
