SpamTitan Shortlisted for 2017 Computing Security Award

TitanHQ’s anti-spam solution SpamTitan has been shortlisted for a 2017 Computing Security Award. The product was included in the list of finalists in the Best Anti-Spam Solution category. The winners of the prestigious awards are due to be announced at a gala event in London on October 12.

Computing Security is a bimonthly business-to-business end user focused publication with more than 12,500 UK subscribers to the hard copy and a further 25,000+ newsletter subscribers. The magazine is aimed at IT managers, application developers, IT security professionals, and C-level executives across the full range of industry sectors.

Each year, Computing Security runs an awards program that recognizes the best and most effective cybersecurity products on the market. The 2017 program will see 33 prestigious awards up for grabs for enterprise-class cybersecurity solution providers, distributors, and resellers.

The list of finalists was selected by the Computer Security team with the winners of each award category determined by public vote. Readers of the print copy and online version of the magazine are currently being asked to cast their votes on their most loved products and vendors. The vote will be open until October 5.

The competition in each category is fierce, with existing products competing with new cybersecurity solutions that have come to market in the past year.  In order to be selected as a finalist, a company must have developed a highly innovative cybersecurity solution that is effective at blocking cyberthreats. The solution must also be easy to use and maintain. Simply being named as a finalist shows a company has developed an exceptional product that meets the needs of enterprises in a wide range of industry sectors.

The past 12 months have seen phishing attacks soar. Ransomware has been embraced by the cybercriminal fraternity, and new malware variants are being released at an unprecedented rate. The primary attack vector is email.

TitanHQ is a leader in the field of email security and has developed SpamTitan to protect enterprises from ransomware, malware, and phishing attacks and block nuisance spam emails. The past year has seen several improvements made to the platform to ensure it continues to provide protection from sophisticated email attacks. The high detection rate, low false positive rate, ease of use, flexibility, and scalability of the solution have made it a popular choice for UK enterprises.

“This recognition showcases the strength of the SpamTitan range of security solutions,” said TitanHQ CEO Ronan Kavanagh. “Our security solutions help thousands of companies worldwide to protect their organisations from malware, spam, phishing attacks and many other email and web threats. We provide powerful network security solutions that are easy to implement with multiple deployment options available.”
