ITAG Enterprise Award for Excellence and Innovation Received by TitanHQ

The Information Technology Association of Galway (ITAG) hosts an annual award ceremony to recognize the efforts made by companies in the technology sector in the west of Ireland. The awards were conceived as a way to recognize the effort made by Galway-based technology companies and to celebrate the contributions they make to the IT industry.

itagThe Information Technology industry in Galway is thriving. A number of prestigious technology companies are now based in the region and the region is fast becoming a center for information technology excellence.

The ITAG awards have helped to promote the region as an information technology hub and provide encouragement to new startups and private ventures, celebrating companies that excel, expand, and create new tech jobs in the region.

The ITAG award program has now been running for 14 years and each year the best information technologies are assessed for the efforts they have made over the course of the past 12 months. The program helps to recognize innovation and excellence, provides encouragement to new startups, celebrates IT in the community, and rewards companies – and individuals – for their achievements.

This year, TitanHQ has been recognized for the effort and commitment in the field of email and Internet security and has received the ITAG Enterprise Award for Excellence. TitanHQ was selected for the award based on the range of highly innovative products the company has developed, for boosting the local economy by creating a host of new information technology jobs, and for the effort and commitment shown by the management and staff.

TitanHQ was praised for being a major driver of local economic growth, for the company’s technical excellence, and for the contributions the company has made, not just in Galway, but around the world.

Over the past few months, TitanHQ has gathered a number of awards for innovation and excellence, having picked up a Red Herring Top 100 Europe award, a Secure Computing SC magazine award, three consecutive Virus Bulletin awards, and the company was also recently named as Computer Reseller News’ Coolest Vendor.

Accepting the award, TitanHQ CEO Ronan Kavanagh said the ITAG award is “a wonderful acknowledgment of how our security solutions are resonating with businesses today.”
