Ironscales Hires New VP of Sales for the Americas

The automated phishing prevention firm Ironscales is on a mission to expand sales in the Americas. The Tel Aviv-based firm has already expanded significantly and grown its customer base in Europe, and a new office in Atlanta and skilled sales team will help drive forward sales on the other side of the Atlantic.

Ironscales has developed a suite of anti-phishing solutions based around its AI-assisted IronSights phishing detection solution. The company also offers an automated incident response solution (IronTraps), an intelligence sharing platform (Federation), and a security awareness training and phishing simulation platform (IronSchool). Its products were developed from research conducted at 8200 EISP, a cybersecurity venture formed by former members of the Israel Defense Forces’ elite Intelligence Technology unit.

This week, Ironscales has announced it has created a new position to help with its expansion goals – a VP of Sales for the Americas. The position has been filled by Adam Hofeler, a former district sales manager for Palo Alto Networks with more than 12 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development at NetApp.

Hofeler has been tasked with overseeing all sales and strategy initiatives in the Americas, expanding the company’s channel partner program, and accelerating enterprise sales in the U.S., Canada, and South America. Hofeler is also expected to boost sales in the government and education sectors.

“As a long-time security professional, I have witnessed numerous companies fall short of their claims to solve very complex security challenges. But ever since I was first introduced to IRONSCALES, I immediately knew that its multi-layered approach to phishing mitigation, guided by the combination of human intelligence with machine learning, was in fact a game-changer for businesses,” said Hofeler.

“Adam is a homerun hire and brings to Ironscales the ideal experience to lead our efforts in the Americas,” said Ironscales founder and CEO Eyal Benishti. “As businesses continue to seek out automated solutions to combat phishing, Adam will have the autonomy to drive strategy and build his team to meet those organization’s needs.”

Ironscales has just completed a round of Series A investment, raising $6.5 million to assist with the expansion and further product development, and has recently appointed a new regional director for sales in the UK and Ireland – Ryan O’Keefe.
