The independent market research firm Forrester Research has released a new report on research conducted over the past few months on providers of cloud cost monitoring and optimization platforms. For its report, Forrester Research conducted an in-depth evaluation of companies and their cost monitoring and optimization platforms and produced a list of the top nine vendors. The addition of this new Forrester Wave report demonstrates just how important cloud monitoring and cost optimization solutions have become.

Each vendor is rated in three areas: Their current offering, strategy, and market presence. Within these broad categories, companies have been rated based on cloud service administration and governance, cloud platforms supported, cost optimization, cloud monitoring, support services, platform experience and SLAs, integrations and APIs, market approach, product vision, partner ecosystem, number of customers; revenue, and market share.
The Q2 report sees CloudHealth Technologies included and ranked highest in the market presence category, confirming the company is the leader in the cloud cost monitoring and optimization space. The platform was also ranked second highest in the current offering category and was amongst the highest rated companies in the strategy category.
