CyberSecurity Breakthrough Names SonicWall 2017 Cybersecurity Company of the Year

SonicWall has collected a prestigious Cybersecurity Breakthrough Award and was named ‘Overall CyberSecurity Company of the Year, 2017.

CyberSecurity Breakthrough is an independent organization that recognizes the hard work of cybersecurity firms through its annual awards program. Cybersecurity firms can submit their solutions for consideration, with each assessed by a panel of independent industry experts across a range of different criteria.

This year the awards covered Cloud Security, Risk Management, Threat Detection, Fraud Prevention, Email Security, Mobile Security, Data Loss Prevention, Vulnerability Management, Encryption, IoT Security, and many other categories. Cybersecurity Leadership awards were also given to companies that have gone the extra mile and offered something above and beyond the competition. More than 2,000 nominations were received for this year’s CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards from 12 countries.

This year, the Professional Certification Program of the Year Award went to the Cloud Security Alliance, AlienVault was recognized as SIEM Solution of the Year, Norton was chosen as Consumer CyberSecurity Solution of the Year, PaloAlto Networks was given Enterprise CyberSecurity Solution of the Year, Security Mentor CISO Dan Lohrmann was named CISO of the Year, and SMB CyberSecurity Solution of the Year went to StrongArm.

SonicWall was named Overall Cybersecurity Solution of the Year, 2017, adding to the 21 business strategy and leadership awards collected by the company since it became an independent company late last year.
