CloudHealth Technologies Voted Best Place to Work in Boston

CloudHealth Technologies, the cloud cost monitoring and optimization solution provider, has been included once again in the Boston Business Journal’s list of the Best Places to Work in Boston. This is the fourth consecutive year that the company has been included in the BBJ list.

The company was formed in 2015 by Joe Kinsella, who was having major challenges keeping tight control of his cloud environment and controlling costs. Kinsella realized that he was not alone and other companies must similarly be struggling with cloud management and must be spending a small fortune on cloud resources that were not being fully utilized. However, there was no simple solution available to take the strain out of managing cloud environments.

Kinsella formed CloudHealth Technologies to solve this problem and oversaw the development of a cloud management solution that makes it simple to keep track of cloud resources, optimize those resources, and control costs.

In three years the company has become the leader in the cloud management and optimization space, with offices in seven countries and more than 3,000 worldwide customers. The platform is now being used to manage $5 billion in combined cloud spend and the company is continuing to enjoy explosive growth.

That growth has seen the firm recently open new offices in Amsterdam and Tel Aviv and expand its London office more than doubling the number of local staff in 2017. The company is also expanding domestically, with the firm due to move to new offices in the Boston Financial District in the next month.

In 2015, when CloudHealth Technologies was first included in the Best Places to Work in Boston List, the company was ranked as an extra small firm in the 20- 49 employee category. Now the firm employs more than 250 engineers, product managers, trainers, account managers, marketers, architects, and support staff.

While many companies lose the passion that led to the creation of the business, at CloudHealth Technologies that passion is still shared by its employees, who have contagious energy and are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction.

“We’re committed to scaling our incredible culture in tandem with our astronomical growth. Being a great place to work doesn’t happen by accident,” said Kristen Tronsky, Director of Human Resources. “The amazing employee experience we provide at CloudHealth Technologies stems from the transparent community we’ve created for the intelligent, driven professionals we hire, and the freedom they have to collaborate, innovate, and positively impact our business (and their own professional development) from day one.”
