CloudHealth Technologies Recognized with 2017 Red Herring Top 100 Global Award

Each year, the leading private companies from the United States, Europe, and Asia are recognized by Red Herring. Thousands of privately owned companies are assessed with the most promising companies with the greatest potential included in the Red Herring Top 100 list.

To be considered for inclusion, a company cannot be listed on any exchanges anywhere in the world, the company must be headquartered in the region of the corresponding Top 100 program, and the company must be in the technology or life sciences sector.

Each company is assessed on more than 20 criteria including IP in the solution through internal research and development, venture investment, growth rate, international footprint, CEO/Team experience and track record, social contribution, level of specialty, market maturity, and industry awards and recognition.

Given the strength of the competition, to be included in the Top 100 list in any region is a tremendous honor, and in order to make the Red Herring Global 100 list the company must be exceptional.

This year, the cloud service management company CloudHealth Technologies was included in the Red Herring Top 100 Global List. The Boston-based firm has developed a platform for enterprises and SMBs that provides integrated reporting, recommendations, and active policy management. The CloudHealth platform analyzes historical usage data and helps with capacity planning, resource optimization, and resource automation. The solution greatly simplifies cloud management helping businesses save thousands on their cloud bills. Customers typically save between 20% and 30% on their cloud bills each month by using the platform.

In addition to the Red Herring Award, CloudHealth Technologies was named in Bostino’s 50 on Fire list, was included in InformationWeek’s 125 Cloud Vendors to Watch, and was a Gold Winner in Network Product Guide’s Cloud category.

This year has also seen the company raise $46 million in Series D funding, the company has expanded its HQ and moved into the Boston Financial District, and the company has expanded internationally, its central London office has been expanded and new offices have been opened in Tel Aviv and Amsterdam.

“This has truly been a banner year for the company,” said Tom Axbey, President and CEO of CloudHealth Technologies. “Being recognized by Red Herring and included on a list of such distinguished companies not only adds to the great string of accomplishments we have experienced — it speaks to the strength of the market and the great business opportunity that lies ahead of us.”
