Last month, Cofense was named ‘Best Place to Work by Inc. Magazine. Now the Washington Business Journal has followed suit and has similarly named Cofense one of the best places to work in the Greater Washington area
This is the 12th consecutive year that the Washington Business Journal has run its Best Places to Work Program. As the name suggests, the program recognizes the companies that provide the best working environment for employees and offers the best benefits.
While many such lists are based on the viewpoints of the judges themselves, the Washington Business Journal list draws its data from the individuals who are best placed to confirm that a company truly does provide an amazing working environment – its employees.
As with the Inc. Magazine list, the data was taken from Quantum Workplace’s annual employee engagement survey. Surveys were sent to employees who were asked to rate their employer in several key areas.
Quantum Workplace assessed the responses and assigned a score out of 100 based on the responses. The Washington Business Journal’s list includes the top companies from hundreds of nominated businesses. To be included, a company must go beyond the norm and foster a meaningful and enjoyable working environment for its employees.
The Washington Business Journal list is split into four sections based on company size. Cofense (Formerly PhishMe) was included in the large company category (50-249 employees).
“We couldn’t be prouder for Cofense to be named among some of the most innovative and industry-leading companies in the Greater Washington area,” says Aaron Higbee, CTO and co-founder of Cofense. “On the heels of being named one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces for 2018, this recognition from Washington Business Journal is another testament of our ongoing efforts – from our new office space to our collaborative spirit – to put our team members first.”
