Adjuvant’s physician scheduling software solution, Call Scheduler, now integrates with TigerConnect’s clinical secure messaging platform. The integration will help users quickly and seamlessly identify the right on-call physician or staff member and communicate with them directly in real-time through the TigerConnect platform.
The Call Scheduler web application makes it easy for healthcare employees to identify on-call staff, but thanks to the new integration, when that individual is identified, text messages, voice calls, or video consultations can be initiated immediately through the web application or via a smartphone app without having to use a pager or landline.
The integration allows joint users of the TigerConnect and Call Scheduler platforms to streamline their workflows through the acceleration of specialty consult requests, route EHR admission and discharge alerts correctly, and improve communication efficiency and rapidly share protected health information such as test results in a HIPAA-compliant way.
“As a fast-growing company in the scheduling provider market, we wanted to offer Call Scheduler users one-click access to TigerConnect’s secure messaging platform,” said Justin Wampach, President of Call Scheduler. “Our customers can now securely message on-duty colleagues within their health community and include pertinent patient information.”
By making communication in healthcare faster and easier, efficiency is improved and there is less potential for medical errors, which have been demonstrated to result in a reduction in waste, and improvements in patient outcomes and patient satisfaction scores.
This is one of several new integrations to be announced by TigerConnect recently. Earlier this month, the company announced a new partnership with OpenTempo, one of the leading innovators in physician scheduling and clinical labor analytics.
