PhishMe Included in 2017 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 List

The 2017 Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 has been published – a list of the top 500 fastest growing companies in the United States in the media, tech, telecoms, energy tech, and life sciences industries.

For the third consecutive year, anti-phishing solution provider PhishMe has been included in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list. This year, in the overall rankings, PhishMe was ranked 200, and achieved position 114 in the software category.

In order to be included in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list, companies must have base-year operating revenues in excess of $50,000, current operating year revenues in excess of $5 million, and must own proprietary technology or intellectual property that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues. Firms must also have a United States HQ and have been in business for at least four years.

The past three years have seen PhishMe enjoy continued and substantial growth. PhishMe is now used by more than 1,600 enterprise customers around the world, and over the past three years, the firm has had 288% employee growth and has expanded into several new regions, including Japan and Australia and the EMEA and META regions. PhishMe’s anti-phishing solutions are now used by approximately 50% of Fortune 100 companies, helping them to defend against the barrage of sophisticated phishing attacks.

Over the past three years, PhishMe has opened new regional bases in 8 locations around the world, and plans to continue its expansion throughout 2018.

“This rate of growth is increasingly difficult to achieve year-over-year as our base revenue number grows and we maintain a keen focus on profitability in the near-term. Our success to date is a direct testament to our security industry expertise, continued innovation, strong execution, and energized customer base, all of which fuel our efforts to create a more cyber-resilient world by empowering the human to defend against today’s top threats,” said Rohyt Belani, CEO and Co-Founder, PhishMe.

The success of the firm is down to its highly effective anti-phishing solutions, strong leadership, and the commitment of its employees to make the firm the leading provider of anti-phishing technologies and training.  This year, Belani has once again been recognized for his vision and drive being named a 2017 EY Entrepreneur of the Year. PhishMe has also picked up numerous awards and accolades this year, including 2017 SC Europe Awards, inclusion in the 2017 Washington Business Journal’s Fast Growing Companies, and being named leader in the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Security Awareness Computer-Based Training.
