The Info Security PG’s Global Excellence Awards recognize security companies that have developed outstanding products that allow organizations to secure their digital resources. The awards, which are now in their 13th year, cover a wide range of information security companies and InfoSec products, including awards for management, customer service, and naturally, the effectiveness and usability of the products.
The annual awards recognize excellence in the field of information security and showcase organizations that have developed ground-breaking products that raise the bar for others. To be selected as a finalist, organizations must have gone the extra mile and ensured their products and services are truly first class.
The PhishMe phishing solution was first released in 2008 with the company incorporated in 2011. Since then, the company has benefited from excellent leadership and considerable investment, allowing the firm to greatly diversify its range of products. PhishMe now offers end user training, a phishing simulation platform, a threat intelligence service and products that greatly improve reporting and incident response.
PhishMe now employs more than 200 staff members and has experienced 892% growth over the past three years. The company has become a world leader in the field of phishing defense.
PhishMe is now the most widely adopted anti-phishing solution. Almost half of the Fortune 100 companies have chosen PhishMe products for phishing attack intelligence, attack identification and incident response.
This year PhishMe, was selected as a finalist in four Info Security PG’s Global Excellence Award categories and Rohyt Belani picked up an award for CEO of the Year (100-499 employees) for the second year in a row.
Accepting the award, Belani said “It is truly an honor to be recognized as a CEO of the Year by Info Security Products Guide for a second year in a row,” but explained that “The real winners are the talented employees at PhishMe. These awards are proof of the hard work and dedication of every member of the PhishMe team.”
This year, PhishMe co-founder and CTO Aaron Higbee was also a finalist in the respective CTO of the Year category.
PhishMe was also named as a finalist in two product category awards – Best Deployments in the United States and Best Security Service.
