KnowBe4 Partner Program for MSPs Introduced in North America

KnowBe4 has launched a new channel program in the United States for managed service providers (MSPs) that will allow them to offer the KnowBe4 security awareness training and phishing simulation platform to their clients.

VARs and MSPs are already offering clients a wide range of software and cloud-based security solutions to help them defend their networks from email, web-based and direct attacks. What is often lacking in their service stacks is a solution that allows their clients to improve the human element of security.

Email is now the number one attack vector with cybercriminals increasingly sophisticated attacks on employees, who are seen as a weak link in the security chain. Businesses are well aware of the risk and now recognize the need for advanced training for their employees. Business are now seeking security training solutions from their service providers.

A single annual training session on security awareness is no longer sufficient. Ongoing security awareness training is necessary if organizations are to develop a security awareness culture.

KnowBe4 has developed a ‘new school’ cybersecurity training program. Employees learn about – and how to deal with – the latest security threats through interactive online training modules. The training modules have been designed to engage users to improve knowledge retention. Employees are then tested using real-world phishing scenarios via KnowBe4 phishing simulation exercises. If an employee falls for a simulated phishing email it is turned into a training opportunity.

For MSPs the KnowBe4 platform is a no-brainer. Since the platform is cloud-based, implementation is quick and easy. The new program is free to join and includes incentives for value-added resellers (VARs) and MSPs, generous margins and training, sales and marketing support.

The KnowBe4 Partner Program is split into three levels: Premier Partner, Certified Partner and Authorized Partner. All levels allow Partner Portal access and a margin discount, with Premier and Certified Partners getting a dedicated KnowBe4 channel manager and ongoing sales, training and marketing support. MSPs in the top-tier of the program benefit from complete training, sales and marketing support.
