Cofense Wins Multiple 2018 Info Security PG Global Excellence Awards

Cofense (formerly PhishMe) has been recognized once again for its anti-phishing solutions and will collect multiple Info Security PG Global Excellence Awards next month.

Info Security PG is the leading information security research and advisory guide for the IT industry. The Info Security PG Global Excellence Awards recognize the best products and services in the field of IT security.

Now in their 14th year, the awards not only celebrate the best companies in the field of IT security, they show which firms have gone the extra mile and have developed industry leading solutions to help SMBs and enterprises keep their networks and end points secure. Award winners have developed ground-breaking products, services, and solutions that have helped to raise the bar in the field of IT security.

Cofense has been named a Gold Trophy Winner in the Best Deployments in the U.S.A category, a Silver Winner in the Security Training and Educational Programs category, and a bronze winner in the Managed Security Services category.

Cofense CEO Royht Belani was named a Gold Winner in the CEO of the Year category, Aaron Higbee was named a Silver Award winner in the CTO of the year category, and Director of Customer Support, Angela Olson, was named a Gold Winner in the Customer Service category. Cofense employees were also praised for their hard work over the past 12 months.

“We are proud to be recognized as a leader by Info Security Products Guide in such a wide range of categories,” says Rohyt Belani, Co-founder and CEO of Cofense. “These wins come on the heels of our exciting rebrand and acquisition announcement, and we couldn’t be more excited to build on this momentum and continue to focus on strengthening our portfolio of security solutions.”

The awards will be presented at a glittering awards ceremony in San Francisco on April 16, 2018.

While technology can be used to block email-based cyber threats, malicious messages often make it past security defenses and are delivered to end users’ inboxes. Training employees to be more security aware can greatly improve an organization’s security posture.

In addition to developing an extensive library of training material, Cofense has created an innovative phishing simulation platform that allows organizations to test the effectiveness of their training programs. Cofense has also developed a one-click phishing email reporting solution, a phishing intelligence service, and Cofense Triage, a solution that helps security teams respond quickly to phishing attacks in real time.

Cofense products have been adopted by many Fortune 1000 organizations and its products are used by companies across the full spectrum of industries in the USA, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia to mitigate phishing threats.
