TigerText Secure Messaging App Integrated into Salesforce Health Cloud

TigerText has announced a new partnership which will allow Salesforce Health Cloud customers to integrate the TigerText HIPAA-compliant messaging app into their Health Cloud portals.

The TigerConnect platform has now been added to the Salesforce Health Cloud allowing communications to be streamlined across the care continuum. The platform can be leveraged to improve communication efficiency, conduct patient handoffs, streamline care coordination, and drive down healthcare costs.

Joshua Newman, MD, CMO of Salesforce Healthcare and Life Sciences said “Health Cloud is all about building stronger patient relationships, and TigerText is a valuable part of our journey towards creating a modern healthcare platform for patients, doctors, and everyone else involved in care.”

Itamar Kandel, President of TigerConnect, pointed out that the integration of the TigerConnect platform with the Salesforce Health Cloud will allow more healthcare providers to benefit from the secure messaging platform. “By working with Salesforce, we have the power to effect massive and much-needed change across the healthcare industry.”

The TigerText secure communications platform can now be embedded in the Salesforce Health Cloud to ensure that physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals can communicate effectively and efficiently. All messages and data transmitted through the TigerText messaging service are protected by end-to-end encryption, while robust authentication controls prevent messages from being viewed by unauthorized individuals.

Healthcare providers that have adopted TigerText have reported significant improvements to productivity and substantial reductions in costs. Some healthcare providers have been able to reduce hospital stays by up to two days, and the improvements to communication efficiency has allowed physicians and nurses to see more patients each day.

To date, more than 5,000 healthcare facilities have adopted TigerText as their secure messaging provider. The company was recently rated by KLAS as the nation’s most adopted secure text messaging platform. The collaboration with Salesforce Health Cloud is likely to strengthen TigerText’s position as the leading provider of secure healthcare messaging solutions in the United States.
